Soleil Tan De Chanel...

I was really tempted to buy the Soleil Tan de Chanel last summer but I didn't in the end, because I was worried it would be a bit too orange, but after hearing so many good things about it on other people's blogs I thought it was time to try it and I'm really glad I did. I have quite pale skin so I do have to be careful when applying it. I like to use my buffing brush and use it as a base under my foundation or tinted moisturiser, so it is more subtle. It gives a glow that is lovely now it's starting to get a bit warmer (please last sun! Pleaseeee), and I'm starting to use my gradual tan on my body as well. It is quite expensive at £29.00 but it is also huge (30g) and I have been using it fairly regularly since I bought it 2 weeks ago and haven't even made a dent in it. I can see this lasting me a really long time, which is always a plus :)

The packaging for Chanel products is always so darn beautiful!!!

It comes with a plastic cover as well as the lid, which is great to protect it. So pretty.

As you can see, it looks like I have barely touched it but I have used it at least 10 times.

Here are some pictures of me in various stages of using it. I apologise for my hair being wet but I always let my hair dry whilst I do my make up.

With nothing on my face but after applying moisturiser etc.
With the Soleil Tan de Chanel as a base, applied with my buffing brush from Real Techniques.

With a mixture of Chanel Perfection Lumiere with Tinted Moisturiser also applied with my buffing brush, over the Soleil Tan.

After I have finished my make up. I really like the subtle glow it gives after you have applied the rest of your make up.

  1. that looks awesome!
It looks like you've swatched it once not used it 10 times! I'm definitely going to give it some thought. Especially used under make-up, that's such a good idea. :)
It's a lot of money but my goodness, that'll last forever and a day!

    1. I can't believe how little it has used too! The chanel make up artist suggested using it as a base as I'm quite pale, and I like it more than on top of foundation xxx
